Yesterday we had a special visit from Ms Coote. She taught us two songs in Te Reo.

Tena Koe - Hello to one
Tena korua - Hello to two
Tena koutou - Hello to all
Harae mai everyone
Welcome everyone

Whakarongo mai means listen to me
Titiro mai means look at me
Korero mai means speak to me
Whakarongo, titiro, korero mai

She also taught us the Maori words for the days of the week. Today is Rapare.

Thursday - Rapare
Friday - Ramere
Saturday - Rahoroi
