Today we had a special visit from Constable Bryan and his dog Bobby! Bryan and Bobby taught us about why it is important to know our personal details in case of an emergency and how to dial 111 safely.
We are becoming experts at keeping ourselves safe!
Thanks Bryan and Bobby!

Keeping Ourselves Safe (KOS)

This term we have been learning the different ways to keep ourselves safe. Yesterday we discussed how it is important to know and talk about our feelings.

When we feel angry we can:
-take some time out and read a book
-take a deep breath and count to ten
-let off some steam somewhere by yourself
-have a drink of water
-walk away
-DON'T TAKE IT OUT ON OTHER PEOPLE AROUND YOU

Use your WITS if someone is taking out their anger on you
Walk away
Ignore
Tell the teacher
Say 'Stop it, I don't like it'
